The TCM U.N.C.L.E. Affair

  • Turner Classic Movies will be showing eight—count ‘em 8!—Man from U.N.C.L.E. theatrical features. All starring Robert Vaughn and David McCallum, they were actually two-part TV shows strung together and rushed to theaters before Bondmania had a chance to wilt. It all takes place on Tuesday, November 6 (ET provided below):

    The Spy with My Face with Senta Berger. 11:15 am.

    The Karate Killers with Joan Crawford (!). 12:45pm.

    The Spy in the Green Hat with Jack Palance (!!). 2:30pm.

    The Helicopter Spies with Bradford Dillman. 4:15pm.

    How to Steal the World with Eleanor Parker. 6pm.

    Channel D is open here fer shur...I've had the tapes rolling all morning...whether I'll be able to actually sit through any of this mishegas is another story!
