That felt wonderful, one mesmerizing face after another. Thank you!
You're most welcome.
What a nice gallery ! So many beautiful faces. I agree with a lot of your choices and going to think of a list myself.
have a nice day.
I love the photo of Fanny Ardant.
Shirley Jones? Dude!
But thanks for the pass. Let me give this one some thought!
Nice list. Love the Sophia Loren and Ava Gardner photos, too. Even the best stars of today just don't have that kind of glamour anymore.
i am so pleased that this post ended with the glorious Natalie Wood who if I had to rank woulda been WAY near the tippity top
so underappreciated
Vincent, Peter & Ed: thanks. Ed, you're right about the glamour factor -- things certainly have changed.
GFS3: I wasn't big on The Partridge Family, but Shirley put the whammy on me in her movies. I'd give anything to be the single guy living next door to her in The Courtship of Eddie's Father.
Nathaniel: Natalie's last because it's alphabetical!
Nice list! I'd have room for Brooksie on mine, tho.
Brooksie?
Louise Brooks
Ah!
Ah, I knew you would have some fascinating French ladies. I was going to tag you for that very reason, but you had already been tagged. Mr. C worships Mme Ardant. And what a picture of the divine Ms Simmons!
We share six in common and I think that might be the most I share with anyone so you know I love your list! I really like that picture of Ingrid Thulin btw.
Thanks, ladies!
Siren: I think Jean Simmons has been tragically overlooked throughout the years. Perhaps she's an acquired taste. I know I didn't start getting into her until I was in my forties.
Kimberly, I dig your list too. I fell for Ingrid Thulin instantly when I saw Wild Strawberries as a teenager. So many of the women in Bergman's films appealed to me, but I always found her particularly beautiful and intriguing.
i took the liberty of crashing the list of 20 female's party...hope i didn't offend with my entry: http://eattheblinds.blogspot.com/
I'm also quite taken by that photo of Ingrid Thulin.
And Fanny Ardant. Rowr.
What a beautiful list. Audrey and Ava : we agree!
