"Yeah," he spat in a flat tone as he tossed the Lucky Strike butt into the languidly flowing Tigre, "There's things out here worse'n Jivaros - they may whack yer head off and shrink it, but," and he had a far away look in his eyes, "But she'll take your heart while she's squeezin' the life outta yuh." He snapped back to the present, "Ah, hell, I'm a sap like every other joe that's had a taste of her. Why'n hell do think I signed on to this hair-brained expedition? I heard a whisper of a breath of a rumor of....Cobra Woman..." and the haunted look of a kind of addiction was in his bloodshot eyes.
