Time’s Up, Eve!
An intriguing short film running under thirteen minutes, Time’s Up, Eve! (2010) was produced and directed by Patrick Rea. While some of the exteriors were filmed in Lawrence, Kansas (birthplace of Herk Harvey’s Carnival of Souls), most were shot in Kansas City, Missouri but strike a remarkable resemblance to the bop-noir Los Angeles backstreets of John Parker’s Dementia (aka Daughter of Horror, 1955), a film that’s a noticeable influence on Rea’s picture.
